In Whitehaven, where a man was discovered dead from gunshot wounds less than a month ago, another guy has been arrested for the murder of the first victim.
According to the United States Marshals Service, Kevin Fennell, age 34, was taken into custody on December 2, 2022, in the city of Columbia, Missouri.
Around 8:20 p.m. on November 15, authorities reported seeing Fennell drive away from the shooting scene on Springbrook Avenue in a black Volkswagen Jetta from 2010.
At the time of his capture, Fennell was wanted for questioning in connection with a charge of murder in the first degree.
According to the Marshals Service, he was discovered in a home in the city of Columbia, Missouri. According to the Marshals, members of the SWAT squad encircled the residence with an armored truck and used a megaphone to order Fennell to come out of the house.
According to the Marshals, he turned himself in without causing any trouble and is currently waiting to be extradited back to Shelby County.
