The Will County sheriff’s officers describe the stabbings as domestic in origin, and three persons were left badly hurt after being stabbed in an unincorporated area of Will County close to Crete.
According to a news release, when sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene of a shooting at 6:41 p.m. on Thursday, they discovered three victims who had been stabbed and required emergency medical assistance.
The residents of the Crete residence, a 66-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man were both bleeding heavily from several wounds. The home also contained a 36-year-old Wisconsin man, but the sheriff’s office did not immediately disclose the extent of his injuries.
Officers began administering life-saving techniques, and all three victims were taken to a hospital. According to the sheriff’s office, they were later taken in critical condition to a hospital in the Chicago region for extra care.
According to the sheriff’s office, the couple’s injuries are likely to be recoverable.

Adele Pinnow, who resides next door to the property, claimed Thursday night that she spotted eight police cars outside her house and that policemen knocked on her door.
One sheriff visited the residence and assured Pinnow that everything was fine and that she was not in danger.
Pinnow claimed not to have heard any gunshots. Pinnow, who claims to have hearing issues, was informed that a neighbor on the other side of the home heard gunshots.
Pinnow stated that she was shocked by the stabbing of her neighbors because they appear to be a nice couple.
I have some familiarity with them, Pinnow added. “They treat me extremely nicely. We converse when we see each other. They strolled hand in hand through the neighborhood.
